Primal G.R.I.T.S. is a blog that I have wanted to start for a long time. I am a Primal Girl Raised In The South. Primal to me stands for getting back to the basics and living “Life Fromscratch.” Using quality ingredients to create meals, and other items in your life, from scratch so that you may take back control of your health and well-being. I reside in an area where information about living a more natural way of life, and how to obtain the products to create that environment, can be hard to come by (and did I mention expensive). I wanted to create a blog that anyone could come to for information and motivation for creating and living their most healthy life. This blog is a tool for you to use when taking those first steps into a healthier lifestyle and you need someone to point you in the right direction. Or maybe you got back to basics a long time ago, but starting to struggle and slump back into old habits. This blog can provide you with tips and guides you need to revive your journey!
I want to help make this experience for you more manageable and more obtainable no matter where you live, or what barriers you may face. I would love for your experience to have less guessing, less stress, and less steps than mine. Don’t get me wrong, I would never trade this journey that I’m on because it has made me who I am today, and is paving my path for tomorrow. But the reality is that sometimes barriers can be so intimidating that they stop us in our tracks. If we think a goal is untouchable because of those barriers (time, money, location, availability, etc.), then we turn around and start moving in the opposite direction. I don’t want that to happen to you. Feeling better than you have ever felt is obtainable, and I want to help you stay on that journey until it becomes your lifestyle.
